How do pastel colors turn out?

Soft, subtle shades require incredibly precise handling and come with an important technical disclaimer: pastel hues are harder to replicate perfectly in projection, so the final result on the wall may not be an exact match to a digital screen. Because high-intensity projector lamps blast an immense amount of white light through the artwork, delicate colors run a high risk of being washed out. To give you the best possible results, we utilize precision glass gobo substrates with dichroic glass layering, which reflects unwanted light wavelengths while allowing soft tones to pass through. However, because ambient room lighting and the color of your projection surface drastically impact the final look, we always recommend aiming for slightly more saturated tones in your artwork file to guarantee those subtle colors translate clearly in your real-world environment.
