While your artwork plays a major role in the type of gobo you need, your lighting fixture is the first factor to consider. You will need to verify whether your specific fixture can accommodate glass, metal, or both.

Once you know your fixture's capabilities, your artwork details will help guide the final choice. Simple designs, like a basic star, are well-suited for metal gobos. However, highly intricate artwork—such as a detailed cityscape—requires a glass gobo to cleanly capture those fine lines and high-definition details.

From there, you will just need to supply your artwork file to an Apollo preferred dealer to get started, as custom orders cannot be placed directly with us.
