Why Is My Gobo Out of Focus?

Blurry projections usually stem from one of three common optical issues:

  1. Lens Adjustment: Your fixture features physical focus barrels or knobs. Adjust them slowly forward or backward until the edges of the image crisp up.

  2. Flipped Installation: If you are using a glass gobo and the image appears fuzzy, soft, or mirrored, try reversing the orientation of the gobo inside the holder.

  3. Keystoning: If the top of the image is sharp but the bottom is distorted, the fixture is projecting at too steep of an angle. Align the projector as flat and square to the target surface as possible
